To minimize the risks that armed conflicts, wars and natural disasters can bring to the children who are involved in them.
The life and health of children are threatened during emergencies. Health centers are destroyed or damaged, there is a shortage of personnel and basic medical supplies, power cuts and lack of fuel that impede the functioning of the health system. Children do not receive adequate medical care or vaccination to prevent disease. The affected populations become more vulnerable to malnutrition and diseases due to lack of food and drinking water, disruption of health services and poor sanitation.
During the winter this situation is aggravated, the temperatures fall and to live in these conditions causes that it worsens its state of health. For this reason, Banc Sabadell collaborates with the One More One campaign. It is much more than UNICEF aimed at helping people in emergency situations through comprehensive interventions related to: health, nutrition, water, sanitation, hygiene , education and protection.
