Improve the accommodation situation of a the most vulnerable people attended by Arrels.
Description
In Spain, for every 100.000 citizens there are, at least, 71 homeless people. In 2012, 23.000 homeless people were attended in integral homeless shelters.
Arrels accompany homeless people in their path towards autonomy, offering them housing, meals, social attention and health care.
Following the Housing First global program where home is considered as the main element to solve social, health and labor problems, Arrels provides decent housing to the homeless people.
Activities
- Adapt and offer an individual flat following the Housing First model
- Accompany and provide the emotional support needed to start the recovering process of the homeless person attended on the flat.
Who will benefit?
