Emotional well-being during cancer
Campaign objectives

Improve the quality of life of cancer patients, contributing to break their routine and helping them to get distracted from their disease through different fun and rewarding experiences.

Description

Health is not only the absence of diseases, but a state of physical, mental and social well-being. That is why the purpose of this project is to promote creative experiences and activities in which patients are the only protagonists of their lives and not their illness.

The program, which is also aimed at caregivers or relatives of patients, consists of three fundamental pillars: pamper yourself, get excited and be inspired.

To get excited, dynamics such as laughter therapy or music therapy are performed where you can freely express emotions and feelings. To get inspired, creative techniques are used: hangers, cans, pots ... Finally, to pamper yourself, activities are carried out where you take care of yourself inside and outside, such as making juices and smoothies that are healthy and fun.

The Program includes the celebration of the III Meeting of Positive Emotions for cancer patients and survivors (eMe), which was born with two clear objectives: to initiate awareness and expose, justify and involve the participants in the benefits of the proposed activity, creative and leisure to promote the emotional well-being and quality of life of cancer patients.

Activities
  • Offer spaces and dynamics where adult cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and / or relatives freely express their emotions and feelings.
  • Propose experiences and creative activities where to let imagination and creativity flow.
  • Create spaces for listening and mindfulness where patients learn personal and interpersonal resources by developing their emotional intelligence from fun and teamwork.
Who will benefit?

Adult cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and family members will be able to achieve better emotional health with activities and dynamics that move away from their usual routine.
